40 different raag
I
am putting together a collection of Hunuman Chalisa in forty
different raag with different music.
Also
a collection of Shiva Mantra, Prayers and Bhajans, all in different
raag with different music. "Hari Anant, Hari Naam Ananta".
There is absolutely no limit to how many different ways we can sing
"Om Namah Shivay".
Also
a collection of Prayers, Stutis, Stotram, Ashtakam to
Mata
Annapurna.
Also
a collection of bhajans from films.
I
am also putting together a collection of very very old bhajans of
Dadaji and Dadima era.
I
started doing this for my own devotion. But now I have a bigger
purpose. I will make audio CDs and DVDs and share my collection with
everyone around the world, and, the money it generates I will give to
feed and educate poor children in India.
WILL
BUY FROM
I
will buy from any singer or group of singers. Your age and
experience does not matter. You may be a star singer OR a star in the
making OR a "home singer" practicing and recording at home
OR a gifted new singer waiting to be discovered. It doesn't
matter who you are. If you have a good voice and a good rhythm, well,
here is your opportunity.
I
will also buy from bhajan mandals, cultural organizations, schools,
pathshalas, professional singers and producers.
WILL
PAY A FAIR PRICE
I
will gladly pay a fair market price for a properly recorded bhajan,
dhoon, mantra, Hanuman Chalisa, in audio or video, in any language. I
buy outright with full ownership including all rights and interests.
I put them in my own bhajan CDs and DVDs that I produce for worldwide distribution.
If
you like to sell your bhajans to me, please tell me the price you
would like to receive (in Indian Rupees). I know that you are not a
producer and you're not doing this as a business. So you don't know
what price to ask for. And very truthfully, I don't know what price
to offer. Every audio and video will be different and the time and
efforts put in to make them will be different. So there cannot be one
standard price. That is why I ask you to quote a price that you and
everyone in your group will be happy to receive. I will gladly pay
two or three times the price you ask for, as I have explained here below.
I
buy only if singers have good raag and rhythm and the recording is
of professional quality. Even then, I buy only a few. So I may not
buy your item. I will make that decision in 60 days. If I buy it I
will send you the payment immediately.

THE PRICE
Any
price you ask for, if it is a fair price and if I accept it, I will
gladly pay twice or three times that price, as follows:
The
Price you ask for: That money will be personal income to the
singers, musicians and others.
PLUS,
For Adults:
I
will give you an amount equal to the price to help poor children if
you are personally involved or get personally involved in Mata
Annapurna Ashram's "Ek Lakh Mandal - Sou Lakh Balak" program.
OR,
For Children:
If
the singer is a child or a group of children, I will give them an
amount equal to the price to help other children. I will provide
guidelines and will require a report of how you are spending the money.
PLUS,
In case of Children:
If
children are learning to sing and play music in a school, Mandir,
Non-profit Pathshala or any other non-profit org, I will donate an
amount equal to the price to that organization.
OR
If
the children are learning in a private pathshala or class with ten
or more children learning at all times, I will give them an amount
equal to the price. That amount will be personal income to the person
or group running that pathshala or class.
If
children age 14 to 18 are running such a pathshala or class, with or
without help of one or more adults, then this amount will be personal income
to those children or children and adults.
HOW
TO RECORD
Hanuman
Chalisa, Bhajans, Dhoon, Mantra Chanting
They
may be in audio or video, in any language. Every Hanuman Chalisa, bhajan,
dhoon and mantra chanting must be individually dedicated with a small
prayer for all the children who are hungry and helpless in India. Say
the prayer, then sing Hanuman Chalisa, bhajan, dhoon or mantras.
Prayer can be said by the singer or any other person or by a group of
people. If you are planning to send audio or video of a live bhajan
program or cultural program, say the prayer on stage where you are
doing your program.
PRAYER:
There is no standard prayer. There cannot be a standard prayer. A
prayer comes from a person's heart. Say the prayer that comes from
your heart.
I
MAY OR MAY NOT BUY
You
may send a single item or a whole CD or DVD. Please quote your price
in Indian Rupees separately for each bhajan, dhoon, mantra or Hanuman
Chalisa. If I like what you send me, I will gladly pay you a fair
price. Please note: I am not obligated to buy anything. I will decide
at my sole discretion to buy or not to buy any item. If I decide not
to buy, then I do not pay you or owe you anything. I will make my
decision and contact you in two months or four months depending on
how you send the item (read below). Please do not inquire during that
time. If I buy any item I will send you the payment immediately.
RESPONSE

TWO

If
you upload your items on YouTube and just send me the links, it
becomes convenient and less time consuming for my people to see them. So
I can respond to you within two months.
If
you upload items on my website or mail them to me, it involves more
work and more time to process them and pass them on to various people
on my team. Therefore it will take four months to respond.
